John Calvin Saucerman

John was born to William Asbury Sassaman and Lucy A. Keller on the 9th of September 1854 in Huntingdon, Adams, Pennsylvania.  John married Ada Maria Stone on the 3rd of July 1883 in Stark county, Illinois.  They had seven boys together and lived the majority of their lives in Hastings, Adams, Nebraska.  After Ada died in 1899, he remarried a women named Sarepeta.  John died in Sutherlin, Douglas, Oregon on the 23rd of January 1944.

Introduction

This blog is about the research that I have completed on the John Calvin Saucerman Family.  Each post will have information and sources about one or more members of this family.  For the purpose of this blog I will only be examining John, his wife, children, parents, and siblings.  A pedigree and many of the sources have been posted to a family tree called Saucerman Pitts on Ancestry.com.  The submitter was Andi1771. This blog will be useful for those interested in the family because I have gather a little more information about the family and not everyone has access to Ancestry.
